In 24h care, caregivers live with the persons in need of care, support them with all activities of daily life, and carry out some nursing and medical activities, in accordance with the legal framework (guidance and instruction by nurses or doctor). The caregivers are usually active in a changing cycle.

In hours care, caregivers support persons who need care, one or several hours a day, or on individual weekdays.

On basis of the information provided by the caregivers in the preparation of the ad, with regard to care and care-relevant training, experiences and preferences, helpforhelp generates a support classification for the most important skills and competencies relevant to care. The information on the respective classification can be viewed separately for each area. The meaningfulness of the classification is, of course, dependent on the truth content of the data and is checked by helpforhelp only with inspected carers through plausibility check.

Helpforhelp is an online portal and not an intermediary agency and therefore does not charge any intermediary fees. First and foremost, helpforhelp is also intended as a marketplace for caregivers and persons in need of care. In practice, however, there is the possibility that caregivers will be able to make use of various services provided by agencies from their home country (administration, transport, etc.) and also make payments for this services to them. In the general terms and conditions of business, helpforhelp prohibits such agencies from making any direct contact and contractual agreements with care-takers, as well as direct payments from care-takers to these agencies. Helpforhelp shall immediately take legal action in the event of infringement of this regulation.
